You say it’s your birthday? Well it’s my Birthday too! (man that song will be stuck in my head for the rest if the day.)

What a joyous day. Today, Jordan proves that it is possible to survive being a teenager and celebrated his 19th birthday! Our long standing tradition of blaring the beattles “you say it’s your birthday” song to wake him up will have to morph into a phone call version now that he has his own apartment and is finishing Culinary School.

Meanwhile, on the other side if the world Jordan’s littlest sister is turning 2! That they share the same birth-day seems a wonderous thing to us.

We aren’t certain that either of our daughters has ever celebrated a birthday (certainly not with the family tune!) so our plan is to break out my treasured easy bake oven and make up for lost time. Three cakes for Zhanna and two cakes for Elena, and if he wishes-Nineteen cakes for Jordan!

(why not! We certainly have plenty to be celebrating about in this house!!)

We fly out in 19 days!!!
