And then we fly around the world

It’s Friday night. One week from now we fly to Moscow. Last minute paperwork included a document to prove there is actually a house on the property we own (thank goodness our pal Sung is a licensed realtor!), redoing our police clearance letters to prove we still haven’t been convicted of major crimes, redoing our medical forms to prove that we still don’t have the plague, sending a new photo of the two of us so the people in region will recognize us, and a few more notary signatures and apostilles just for fun.
We’ve been working on the Russian phrases and had the very good fortune to be matched up with a super nice couple from Boston who will be traveling at the same time to meet their two little boys from the same baby home as our girls.
The weekahuna blog is being moved over to our new webhost and set up with the amazing wordpress option for posting from our iPhones with photos from it’s camera or our library. We hope to be able to actively post from Russia.
More soon, this post is mostly a test of the new system and my ability to type on iPhone after days of not getting enough sleep and stressing out about tiny details like 11lbs limits to carry on luggage!
