The Cluttered Pantry

Vroom vroom…. We sold the mini cooper, dropped it off this evening and bid fair well to a super fun ride with the “we got hitched in the tunnel of love in las vegas” bumper sticker still on the back. Think the new owners will keep that?

We’ve decided to give the local car sharing program www.Igocars.com a try so for now (until one of us calls “bullshit” on the process of having to reserve a car in advance) we are going to skip the car payments and gas prices and insurance and all that mess.

It’s a pretty great system, IGo cars are parked all over out neighborhood so there is a prius or Honda element within walking distance at all times for $6.75 an hour including fuel. That and the bus/train options mixed with the fact that most everything we need is in walking distance of the house makes us feel like we should at least give this simpler life stuff a chance.

Unless, of course, Mark decides to fill the new found space in the garage with more motorcycles!

Just some last minute packing and house cleaning left to do before we fly out on Friday. Lots of biz stuff to get in order though, two different shoots on Friday night, another on Sunday and several web and video postproduction projects during the week…thank goodness for our awesome team off capable Kahunas!
