Cribs in our Crib

You mean we can’t just put a bunch of pillows on the floor and let them fall asleep where ever they want like the puppies do? Well sheesh…I guess we should take Dave W’s advice and get some of them thar cribs and a stuffed bunny or something, since “kid’s like that sort of thing.”
We thought we’d buck, what we percieve to be, a long standing tradition of spouses having major stress and strife during the construction of cribs and just went for it and put both cribs together last night and managed to have some fun while doing it. Mark proves that they are indeed solid wood and sturdy in the photo above…and that he remains a child at heart – child like not childish right?
were building them large cages or something, Napoleon in particular spent most of the evening skulking around trying not to be noticed.
I wish we could figure out a way to tell them what is about to change in the house…Right now the two dogs are just hoping that all the toys and the new room are for them. We’ve had them play with the neighbor’s adorable 9 month old recently and that went really well…even when she grabbed Rosie by the hair on top of her head as a way of saying “i love you” in the way that only babies can. Rosie just hunkered down for the long haul and waited for her tiny head to be set free.

Wouldn’t suprise me a bit, based on the speed with which Baby’s R Us and the other children’s stores have added us to their mailing lists.
We leave it to you, our friends and families to help settle a small difference of opinion… One of us found a set of crazy soft “dolls” that and brought them back from the last gig in New York. So, what your vote; too scary for small children, or so ugly they are cute?
We, of course, plan to solve all future parenting conundrums this way…by popular vote amongst our friends rather than having to decide for ourselves. Use the comment link below to vote or at least say hi.
best wishes to you all!

Nice room! Might I suggest a crib or two? And some sort of stuffed bunny or something. Kids like that, -G’Bless – Dave

I was always a fan of “Interjection”, generally set apart from a sentence by an exclamation point or by a comma when the feeling’s not as strong. Hurrah! for your Wee Kahunas. Matty O

Hooray! Hooray! (insert Russian equivalent here!) for Wee Kahunas! They will need their own collection of wee electric guitars! We are both very excited for you and the little ones. Can’t wait to hear more! Maybe Chi town this spring for a visit?
All our best,
Love,
Scott & Bonnie
