Then we do some shopping

So, the real world and work calls. The two of us start our next set of travels for Really Really Big Industries, Inc. this coming week. This is likely to be one of the last multi week/multi continent trips that we take together for the next couple of years.

We’ve added to the Really Really Big Crew and are busy training staff that will be able to take on the brunt of the long trips going forward so that we can spend time at home with the Wee Kahunas once they are here with us.

We set up a google map that shows where we will be this time, and of course the Really Really Mobile Kahunas blog will be updated with travel pics and ramblings as we go….so feel free to check out both when you need something to do on the internet, or just miss us so much you can’t stand it. (you can click on the words above to go directly to the other sites.

The paper-chase will continue while we are away. The adoption agency and the state homestudy agency are working away on their requirements and with any luck the Department of Homeland Security is doing its’ thing with our pre-approval documents so that when we get back at the end of March there should be lots of things to cross of the list

In the mean time, we’ve gone a little bonkers and orderd cribs, and designed/approved a small construction project that needs to happen to make the Wee Kahunas room big enough for two. (we know that there is a fair amount of time before the room will be needed, but our most excellent House Sitter/Office Manager/Good Friend Judith (aka Really Really Swank Kahuna) is willing to put up with the construction noise while she is here taking care of the house, business and puppies so we jumped at the chance to get it all done.

The cribs? well, we couldn’t help ourselves…we found a set that converts into toddler beds and then eventually full size beds so we went for it. Bobbi’s mother reports that the brand we chose is exactly the same as the furniture that she and her sister Susan had as children (different style, but same manufacturer.) We’ll take that as a good sign since some of that original set of furniture is still being used by our friend Kendra for her children

our best to you all!

Keep in touch…
